Amidst controversy and confusion, “The Original Original” Alex Kingston became a two-time NWE Champion last night at Insurgence. (FULL RESULTS)

The pay-per-view was headlined by a 4-Way for then-champion Chris Jackson's NWE Championship and the night was won by Kingston who took advantage of a mis-cue between Jackson and protege John Tarver. Not to mention, the complete exhaustion of Ryan Knight.

Kingston was perhaps the last favoured to actually become champion. But he shouldn't have been.

Now, the arrogant Canadian Original reigns atop the mountain once again as the 13th holder of the NWE Championship. Lucky for some, unlucky for others. And after several months of feeling overlooked and undervalued, one has to feel Kingston has several targets with his new found position of bargaining power.

Not least of which is NWE Chairman Matt Saye, the man Kingston primarily blames for what he perceives as a conspiracy against him. The two have had heated words on several occasions in the past, but have never actually come to blows in a match. Could Kingston use the title as bargaining power to get the man he claims has held him back into the ring?

The Original Original is now the most important man in the company, a position it's clear he likes. His Title win was down to his timing and cunning, and we're sure he'll use every ounce of both to hold on to the most prestigious prize in National Wrestling Entertainment.

Has NWE Champion Chris Jackson got things sewn up at NWE Insurgence? (COMPLETE INSURGENCE CARD)

When the 150th episode of NWE Showdown concluded, it very much seemed so. On that show, Jackson managed to save his rocky relationship with mentor John Tarver by offering him a shot at the International Championship with a contract Jackson attained (though it is currently unknown how).

But Jackson, in promising Tarver that no favour between them goes un-returned and acknowledging Tarver had done Jackson a few favours in the past, wasn't just going to hand it over.

Instead, the sly Champion promised to give Tarver the document if their match was called off, and if “we do what we set out to do on Sunday”. Seemingly an offer Tarver could not refuse, he shook Jackson's hand and their mentor/protege, back-scratching relationship continues. At least for the moment.

Which now begs the question of whether - as a result of this - The Hunter has his 4-way NWE Championship defence against Tarver, Ryan Knight and Alex Kingston this Sunday in the bag already. It appears evident that Jackson and Tarver have agreed to work together, and very little can be done to prevent that should it be the case.

Discredit Jackson on many fronts. But never can one say he's not intelligent. However, it remains to be seen if this plan comes together as he wants it to on Sunday.

Jackson: "Tarver Match Won't Happen"

Ahead of his scheduled match with protege John Tarver on the 150th episode of NWE Showdown tomorrow, NWE Champion Chris Jackson sent two cryptic tweets in which he claims the match will not take place.

Last Monday, during a tag match pitting himself and Tarver against Ryan Knight and Alex Kingston for the NWE Championship, Jackson prevented Tarver taking the winning pinfall by, after apologising first, hitting him in the head with the Title.

Then, last night on another special Monday edition of Showdown, Jackson's attempt to aid Tarver to victory in a 3-Way Challengers' Challenge match backfired when the referee disqualified Tarver. Mentor and Protege had heated words before Showdown General Manager Vincent Crashman booked a match between them for tomorrow night.

On Sunday at NWE Insurgence, Jackson defends the NWE Title against Ryan Knight, Alex Kingston and John Tarver. But will Jackson have Tarver on his side or on his tail?

Mentor vs. Protege:
In an intriguing main event, NWE Champion Chris Jackson takes on 1/3 of the field challenging him this Sunday - and his protege - John Tarver! On the Jan. 30 edition of Showdown, Jackson hit Tarver with the NWE Championship to save his skin and retain the title.

Then, on last night's Showdown, Jackson tried to help Tarver score a victory over the other 2 contenders in Sunday's 4-way, Ryan Knight and Alex Kingston. However, the move backfired and Tarver was disqualified.

The two almost came to blows, before General Manager Vincent Crashman booked this match for episode 150.

Cain Returns to the Ring:
After several weeks away, Denzel Cain will return to the ring tomorrow on Showdown to face Duane Edwards. In just a few short days, Cain takes on arch nemesis Olegg Nastrum in a Last Man Standing match and you have to believe Nastrum will be close by when Cain steps into the ring again.

But will Cain show any ring rust and will Nastrum show his face days before their encounter?

Haunted By The Numbers?

At NWE Insurgence this Sunday, Chris Jackson will step into the ring to defend the NWE Championship against three challengers! With an overwhelming 75% chance of losing the Title, it has to be playing on “The Hunter's” mind no matter how confident he seems externally.

These odds are the toughest any Champion in National Wrestling Entertainment has faced this year. Something we're sure Jackson is pleased to know. But it's not the first time this has happened to the NWE Champion.

A little over a year ago, Corey Chambers faced these odds at the event of the same name. Ironically, just a month ago, Chambers was retired by Jackson in a historic “Title vs. Career” match - a first in NWE.

Chambers battled valiantly against Jaleel, Kurt Harris and William Sanchez and, in the end, managed to escape the inaugural Insurgence pay-per-view with Title in tact though it wasn't without a struggle.

But will Jackson be so fortunate?

Now retired, Chambers is looking forward to watching the 4-Way contest unfold live on pay-per-view this Sunday. “It's a fun time for the fans. 4-Way matches are so unpredictable and with perhaps 4 of the biggest names in the company competing in one match, this will be a lot of fun to watch.”

Surprisingly, Chambers had some words of advice for his arch nemesis Jackson.

“There's only one thing Chris can do here; fight like his life depends on it. Don't get me wrong, I don't like Chris. I loathe him. Nothing would make me happier than watching him lose the NWE Title on Sunday. But I can sympathise with the odds he's about to face.

“He'll step into that ring on Sunday knowing that there's a better chance he'll leave an ex-Champion than there is of him leaving with the Championship. That will play on anyone's mind. Whether you're a conniving little asshole or not.”

With the current NWE Champion, it's hard to know what is ever going through his mind. But we would be willing to side with Chambers in predicting that the Champion is being haunted by the numbers.

NWE Repositions 2 Pay-Per-Views

It was revealed today that National Wrestling Entertainment has re-structured it's monthly pay-per-view schedule, with 2 events moving to different months.

NWE's “Turmoil” pay-per-view - usually held in June - will take place in July effective in 2012. Similarly, the NWE “Fight Against Time” pay-per-view - usually held in July - will take Turmoil's place in June also effective in 2012.

The move was made for creative reasons.

How Will Maari Measure Up?

On Monday night during the NWE Showdown special, Gafur Maari took his place in history.

In an epic match which lasted over seventeen minutes, Maari would defeat Kenny Kidd to win the NWE International Championship!

The Title switches from one fan favourite to another. But how will Maari's reign measure up to the greats who have held it in the past?

Take the original NWE International Champion, CM Punk. Punk set the bar high with a 140 day title reign in 2009, only to be outdone by Robert Roode who topped him but 26 days in a record reign which still stands.

More recently, Chris Jackson managed to tie Punk in his 140 day run as International Champion. But Jackson, like so many before and after him, could not beat the record setting reign of 166 days.

Is Maari the guy to break the record? Will the first Indian born NWE International Champion go the distance and put his name in the record books?

The question remains to be answered, and he's still got a long way to go.

Isolated Champion?

For anyone on the NWE roster, the NWE Championship is the main goal. Winning that title is the pinnacle of your career. And on Monday, Jackson stopped his protege attaining the ultimate glory to save himself.

Late last week, NWE Champion Chris Jackson described Vincent Crashman as “unfair, boring and predictable,” in a telephone interview with NationalWrestlingEntertainment.com.

That was in reference to Crashman announcing that on February 12 at NWE Insurgence, Jackson will defend his title against Ryan Knight, Alex Kingston and his own protege John Tarver.

Crashman has responded. And in a big way, too. Here's what he said: “Mr. Jackson can call me whatever he wants, as long as the adjectives are accurate.

“Unfortunately, they're not. I have just booked the main event for Monday nights special NWE Showdown; an Insurgence preview match pitting Mr. Jackson and John Tarver vs. Ryan Knight and Alex Kingston.

“But that isn't all. In order to make things more interesting, I'm adding the stipulation that whoever scores the winning pinfall leaves Showdown as NWE Champion!

“How's that for unfair, boring and predictable?”

You read that right. This Monday on NWE Showdown, a match filled with people who can't stand each other as Insurgence opponents Chris Jackson and John Tarver take on Ryan Knight and Alex Kingston. And the person to get the pinfall takes home the NWE Championship!

Jackson rants on Crashman's Announcement

NWE Champion Chris Jackson isn't best pleased.

On the last NWE Showdown, General Manager Vincent Crashman announced that, on February 12, Jackson will defend his title against Ryan Knight, Alex Kingston and his own protege John Tarver.

In a telephone rant to NationalWrestlingEntertainment.com, Jackson said: “Typical. Crashman has to do what the sheep (NWE fans) were expecting him to do. He has to do what the sheep wanted. A 4-way. Giving me seventy five percent odds of losing? That's bullsh*t.

“Once again, Crashman's proved what I already knew him to be; unfair, boring and predictable.”

How Long Can Respect Hold Up?

As a result of a victory over Ramsay Steele, on the January 30 episode of NWE Showdown, International Champion Kenny Kidd will put his title on the line against Gafur Maari.

These two ring warriors have a lot of mutual respect between them. But, as has been the case innumerable times in the past, respect doesn't always hold up in high stakes, high pressure situations.

Don't get us wrong, we don't think either man would cheat to beat the other. But we are wondering how long respect will hold up with something as important as the International Championship at stake next Wednesday.

After all, even the best of friends have become the worst of enemies in situations with less at stake than this.

Since arriving in NWE, Gafur Maari has been big on respect. The guy has a lot of it and just one look at how he conducts himself backstage will show you that. Same for Kenny Kidd. Sure, he's had a chequered past, but he has truly changed his whole attitude and become a Champion to be proud of.

We hope Maari and Kidd's mutual respect holds up in the International Championship match. But we do have to wonder if it will, if it even can with something so valuable at stake.

What Will Crashman Do?

NWE General Manager Vincent Crashman is irate. And who can blame him?

Twice in as many weeks, Crashman's plans regarding the coveted NWE Championship have been ruined.

First, on the Jan. 4 episode of NWE Showdown, Alex Kingston interfered in a Title match between champion Chris Jackson and Ryan Knight. A week later, Kingston intervened in a contract signing for a rematch between Jackson and Knight planned for NWE Insurgence on Feb. 12.

“The Original Original” has told Crashman to put him on the contract in order to get the document signed. But will he make it that easy? Will Crashman allow Kingston to barge his way in and get a title shot? After all, Ryan Knight did beat Kingston at Wrestle Fest IV to earn the opportunity Kingston keeps sabotaging.

Sources close to Crashman say he plans to address the matter and Kingston to open Showdown this Wednesday night. Only Crashman knows what he's got to say.

Kurt and AJ Harris: Gold In Sight

“The Bigger Star” Kurt Harris has had a storied career in National Wrestling Entertainment. His brother, AJ Harris, however, has not. The younger sibling of “The Bigger Star” only arrived in December, but has made quite the impact.

After settling the score with Morgan Murray at NWE Wrestle Fest IV, the siblings seem to be taking a different path. On NWE Showdown this past week, they competed in their first match as a tag team.

Earlier today, we spoke to the brothers Harris to talk about their newly formed alliance.
On what it was like to team up:
Kurt: “It was great, you know. Being able to go out there with my brother and wrestle as a team. It was a real honour but it was also very surreal.”
AJ: “I hoped when I got here we'd get the chance to team together. I wasn't sure when and I definitely didn't expect it to happen as fast as it has. But I'm glad it's come about.”

On growing up as wrestling fans:
Kurt: “Oh, man. We were huge fans growing up. We used to watch everything we could get our hands on and then we used to go at it ourselves. I mean, we used to get all the cushions off the couch to set up like a little ring and I just beat the crap out of him.”
AJ: (Laughs) “He is four years older than me. But I always put up a fight.”

On who their favourites were:
Kurt: “I was always a huge Midnight Express fan. I loved Jim Cornette. He was always such an asshole to people on the microphone. I always liked to cheer the bad guys. Which is funny, 'cause now I like to kick the bad guys' asses.”
AJ: “For me, it was all about the Macho King. He enthralled me every time he stepped through the ropes. His death hit me hard, man. A true Legend of the sport. Oooh yeah!”

On their aims as a team:
AJ: “Obviously, the main aim is to hold those NWE World Tag Team Titles. Not just because it means you are the best team in the world, but also because holding those belts with your brother is a pretty special thing. I've watched brothers hold titles together before. The Hardy Boys, the Dudley Boys, you name 'em. It looked like such a genuinely great thing to be a Champion alongside your brother. I want to experience that.”
Kurt: “Apart from that, I mean, let's be honest, the tag team scene around here leaves a lot to be desired. It seems like either The Maxwell's hold it or a couple of jackasses hold the titles hostage. We want to set this division on fire. We wanna make this the division everyone talks about. Not in a narcissistic way. But in a, 'damn, those tag matches are can't miss stuff' kinda way.”

Their thoughts on current title holders, Koji Goto and Toru Nagata - DISORDER:
Kurt: “They're talented guys, no doubt. I just wish they would do it more often without relying on the numbers game.”
AJ: “My only thoughts on them are that they're public enemy number one as far as I'm concerned.

It's said that NWE General Manager Vincent Crashman was “steaming mad” that “The Original Original” Alex Kingston disrupted the NWE Title main event between Chris Jackson and Ryan Knight.

According to sources, Crashman wants Jackson and Knight to have another match for the Title but has to speak with NWE's Board of Directors to decide if Knight has a valid claim at a rematch.

Cain to Hospital:
Denzel Cain was taken to hospital after being thrown from the ring through the commentary booth by Olegg Nastrum on Showdown. It's believed Cain suffered a few broken ribs from going through the table, and a concussion after hitting his head on the guard rail when he landed.

Deranged Lunatic:
People backstage who saw Christian Jax said they saw a “deranged lunatic”. Jax's manager Horatio Hughes said on commentary that Jax was “incredibly frustrated” after losing the United States Title in a Title Unification match to International Champion Kenny Kidd at Wrestle Fest.

“Frustrated isn't the word,” a source said. “That guy walked around like a deranged lunatic. All the crew gave him a wide birth. Even a few wrestlers were hesitant about looking at him funny. He's dangerous right now.”

Kidd on Hiatus:
For those wondering why he wasn't on Showdown, NWE International Champion Kenny Kidd has been given a couple of weeks off.

Kidd was incredibly banged up after his Title Unification win at Wrestle Fest, and Crashman felt he needed to rest to ensure he doesn't get injured.

Harris' Eye Gold:
Kurt and AJ Harris are eyeing the NWE World Tag Team Championships. Wednesday night saw them team together for the first time and defeat The OwMen.

“They opened some eyes on Wednesday,” claimed a source. “They keep that up and they'll be fast tracked to the NWE World Tag Team Title scene.”

Should Ramsay Steele be #1 Contender?

To claim Ramsay Steele does things his way is an understatement.

At NWE Wrestle Fest IV on Sunday, despite not being on the card, Steele not only showed up but won a shot at the NWE International Title in the process. For those unaware, Steele attacked Gafur Maari backstage and took the spot originally Maari's in a 4-way contenders bout.

The “Iron Man” is now #1 Contender to the International Championship.

But the question is, should his victory on Sunday count? After all, Steele was not supposed to be in the match. Or on the card. Or even at the show. Many pundits are questioning how NWE General Manager Vincent Crashman can allow Steele to claim #1 contender status after winning like that.

Sure, a win is a win, and Steele did wrestle an entire match to claim the opportunity. But one can't help but feel his victory is tainted... and possibly illegitimate.

That's not even mentioning poor Gafur Maari. Surely this pro-respect competitor has a claim to contendership, too. The spot in the Wrestle Fest match was his in the first place, and since he never got to compete, he never got the chance to win or lose the match and the coveted title opportunity.

For those who checked out 'Showdown' last night, you'll already know Maari is raging. It's only a matter of time before the Indian Original gets his hands on Steele. So the only question remains: what is going to be done about this situation?

TITLE VS. CAREER - NWE Champion Chris Jackson vs. Corey Chambers:

TITLE UNIFICATION MATCH - International Champion Kenny Kidd vs. United States Champion Christian Jax:
One Title lives, one Title dies on January 1, 2012. Those are the simple, yet Earth shattering stakes placed on the clash of champions between NWE International Champion Kenny Kidd and NWE United States Champion Christian Jax.

For many weeks, Jax has referred to Kidd as the “lazier, lesser Champion” of the two mid-card title holders. Jax has also accused Kidd of being a corporate brown noser and being rewarded with spotlight and better billing as a result. Jax even went as far as to cost Kidd the International title against William Sanchez on the November 9 Showdown, but was unable to prevent Kidd regaining the belt two weeks later in a Cage match.

Kidd has denied Jax's claims, labelling and attempts at putting him down.

So much so that he was willing to prove his worth in a match. A Title Unification match. That will go down at Wrestle Fest IV. Which Champion is better and will get to carry on their title's legacy as a reward? We'll all find out on January 1.

Is Corey's Silence a Sign of Doubt?

Just days before they clash in an epic Title vs. Career bout on Sunday, NWE Champion Chris Jackson took over from Allan Black to ask his contender - former NWE Champion Corey Chambers - some questions.

However, Jackson's probing didn't get him very far. Though Chambers seemed to want to respond, he didn't. Perhaps it was just a case of wanting to let actions speak louder than words.

Or perhaps, as some are speculating, Corey's silence is more a sign of doubt.

Think about it. On Sunday night, Chambers goes into Wrestle Fest IV with everything to lose. A loss on Sunday for Chambers doesn't just mean falling to the bottom of the pile again. It means his career ends.

Don't get us wrong, Corey is more than capable of handling himself in the ring. In his 19 month career, Chambers became the first ever NWE Trophy winner and the longest reigning NWE Champion ever. This super talented individual has risen to the top of the NWE ranks quicker than anyone in history.

However, his opponent on Sunday, Jackson, is a master manipulator. In order to get this match, Jackson forced Chambers to put his career on the line. Not to mention Jackson having his protege, John Tarver, attack Chambers before their previous scheduled encounter for the Title in which Chambers bled so profusely he passed out.

Chris Jackson is a formidable NWE Champion. Perhaps the most formidable in company history. Anyone - even one of the best the company has ever seen - shouldn't go into a match against Jackson believing it'll be a cake walk. He has proven time and again he'll stop at nothing to injure people, even end their careers.

And therein lies why Chambers might be doubting the decision to put his career at stake. Because his opponent this Sunday is ruthless enough to end Corey's livelihood... and he'll do it with a smile on his face.

Will January 1 be Chambers' Christmas Day?

On the holiday edition of NWE Showdown (RESULTS), NWE Champion Chris Jackson was in a giving mood... well, sort of.

During Corey Chambers' interview, the #1 contender to the NWE Title got an up-close look at his Christmas present from Jackson - a replica of the NWE Title - when Jackson smacked him with it. Jackson then declared the replica would be the closest Chambers came to holding the NWE Title again, and the only thing he'll have to remember NWE by.

For, on January 1 at NWE Wrestle Fest IV, Chambers and Jackson collide in a Title vs. Career Match (PREVIEW). Arguably the biggest contest in NWE history.

However, Chambers may be heading towards the best Christmas present (albeit a belated one) he could ever ask for. Because, if Chambers manages to win at Wrestle Fest, he'll not only keep his career in tact, but he'll also be holding the NWE Championship for a second time.

Of course, that's easier said than done. Chambers' opponent on New Year's Day 2012 is a conniving, manipulative, uncaring Champion who is hell bent on being Chambers' judge, jury and executioner!

NWE Year End Awards 2011

2011 has been another fantastic year for National Wrestling Entertainment. Many Originals have risen to prominence this year - some even to Championship gold.

As such, a panel of wrestling experts were brought in by NationalWrestlingEntertainment.com to decide who was worthy of NWE's first-annual Year End Awards 2011!

Let's have a look:

ORIGINAL OF THE YEAR

NOMINEES:

Denzel Cain: Talk about one hell of a year. Denzel Cain won the Fight Against Time Gauntlet in July, main evented the NWE Heatwave pay-per-view and won the coveted NWE Championship twice!

William Sanchez: Sanchez made a huge name for himself this year when he turned on former best friend Corey Chambers. That catapulted into the main event. Then, just a few weeks back, Sanchez won his first title in NWE capturing the NWE International Championship.

Olegg Nastrum: This guy showed his Monster side in 2011. A spark ignited in the Baron of Brutality in the middle of 2011 and he has obliterated everyone in his path since. While the NWE Championship has evaded him, Nastrum has made all sorts of headlines this year for his various heinous actions; none worse, though, than recently chokeslamming Denzel Cain's mother!

Corey Chambers: Corey Chambers started 2011 in style by ending Ramsay “Iron Man” Steele's undefeated streak at Wrestle Fest III in January. He went on to hold the NWE Title until June, where it was snatched away from him by Alex Kingston, thanks to an assist by William Sanchez. Despite not having the best Summer, Chambers got things back on track by earning a place in the main event of Wrestle Fest IV on January 1, 2012.

Alex Kingston: Kingston began the year as NWE United States Champion. He lost the Title to Curtis Hagan in April, but found glory when he became NWE Champion at Turmoil 2011. From there, Kingston held onto the title until September (becoming the first Champion in NWE to ever defend his title twice in a single night). Kingston now finds himself preparing to lock horns with Ryan Knight at Wrestle Fest IV.

WINNER:

Chris Jackson: Chris Jackson went on a tear in 2011. Using his Hunter's Gospel as guidance, Jackson spent 140 days as NWE International Champion (equalling first champion CM Punk) - beating up and breaking down everyone in sight with his Figure 4 Leg Lock. Among the victims was Hollywood superstar Charlie Sheen. If that wasn't impressive enough, Jackson captured the NWE Championship on two occasions this year, a title he still holds now.

TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR

NOMINEES:

Deep South Destruction: Jack Turpin and Travis Lamb have had a pretty good year. They started it as NWE World Tag Team Champions, holding onto the titles into Wrestle Fest III. They then made huge names for themselves when they targeted Corey Chambers and main evented the NWE No Remorse pay-per-view alongside him in May.

The OwMen: These two captured World Tag Title gold this year at NWE Insurgence, holding the titles for 83 days before losing them to Corey Chambers and William Sanchez on an edition of NWE Showdown in May.

Kurt Harris and Jaleel: If you want destructive teams, you're looking at one. This makeshift duo formed early in 2011, and dominated the tag team scene as NWE World Tag Team Champions by cashing in an earned shot and beating Chambers and Sanchez for the titles. They held them 88 days before disbanding.

DISORDER: What an amazing year DISORDER have had. Since arriving in early 2011, they have caused absolute destruction. They have beaten, manipulated and tortured people on their way to the top - including forcing Curtis Hagan to join the group and using him as nothing more than a welcome mat. One member, Taru Hayashi, even captured the NWE United States Title this year.

WINNERS:

The Maxwell Brothers: The other teams were impressive. But none could top the year the Maxwell's had. Winning not one, but two sets of Tag Team Championships this year and overcoming a horrendous losing streak in the process to make themselves record-setting 4-time NWE World Tag Team Champions!

RISING STAR AWARD

NOMINEES:

Denzel Cain: Cain has risen to prominence this year. His career was catapulted by winning the very first ever Fight Against Time Gauntlet. Cain won 2 NWE Championships as well.

Gafur Maari: Gafur Maari hasn't spent long on the NWE roster, but boy has he made an impression. This Indian sensation is big on respect and competition and has shown himself up to be a man with a bright future in National Wrestling Entertainment.

Christian Jax: In just a short period of time at the end of this year, Christian Jax made a big impression on NWE fans. Aligning himself with Horatio Hughes, Jax went from obscurity to holding the NWE United States Title. He now heads into a Title Unification Match at Wrestle Fest IV.

Chris Jackson: Despite being a veteran, Chris Jackson has really launched himself to the top rung of the proverbial ladder. He dominated as NWE International Champion and claimed the NWE Championship.

WINNER:

Kenny Kidd: Perhaps this award should have gone to Chris Jackson. But the panel were truly inspired by Kenny Kidd's year. He didn't start well, losing to former partner Deelon Smith at Wrestle Fest III. But after overcoming and avenging that loss, Kidd went on to compete in the Fight Against Time Gauntlet, defeat Ryan Knight for the International Championship in an outstanding contest in September, and is now heading full steam into a Title Unification Match with Christian Jax at Wrestle Fest IV.

HEINOUS ACT OF THE YEAR

NOMINEES:

Ramsay Steele assaults William Sanchez in the hospital: It was billed one of the most sickening endings to NWE Showdown ever. At Insurgence in February, Ramsay “Iron Man” Steele attacked William Sanchez following a 4-way NWE Title match. But Steele wasn't done. The former MMA fighter would then show up at Sanchez's hospital bed where he assaulted him, beating a defenceless Sanchez mercilessly as then-NWE Champion - Sanchez' pal - Corey Chambers watched on unable to help.

Chris Jackson locks Charlie Sheen in the Figure 4: Who will ever forget when Charlie Sheen appeared on the March 9 edition of NWE Showdown. Sheen was making headlines in the Hollywood world, but when he appeared on Crash TV, he also made headlines in the NWE world. Sheen's appearance was mired in controversy when he stood up to - even slapped - Chris Jackson. Jackson then locked Sheen in the Figure 4 for his troubles. But Sheen was still not defeated, giving Jackson the one finger salute to remember him by.

William Sanchez turns on Corey Chambers: Friends turning on friends is common in wrestling. But when William Sanchez turned on Corey Chambers, it broke the hearts of NWE fans around the world - not to mention Chambers. Sanchez cost his ex-pal the NWE Title in June at NWE Turmoil and would go on to mentally and physically torture Chambers in the months that followed.

WINNER:

Olegg Nastrum chokeslams Denzel Cain's mother: Perhaps the most disgusting thing to happen this year occurred on the October 12 edition of NWE Showdown when Olegg Nastrum chokeslammed Denzel Cain's mother. Mrs. Cain was visiting Showdown to support her son who had just won the NWE Championship! This heinous act sparked a war between Nastrum and Cain which still rages, and will hopefully culminate in a clash at Wrestle Fest IV!

BEST MOMENT OF THE YEAR

NOMINEES:

Corey Chambers arrives in style: It wasn't known whether Corey Chambers, NWE Champion at the time, would make it back for Wrestle Fest III in January 2011. it seemed Ramsay Steele and his heinous actions, might have been the final nail in Chambers' coffin. However, on January 19, Chambers returned in style, driving his car through the Showdown set!

Saye gets in the ring: Wrestle Fest III on January 23, after weeks of abuse and humiliation, NWE Chairman Matt Saye got in the ring with Ryan Knight. Though Saye didn't win, it was quite the sight to see the Founder getting his hands dirty and beating up Knight - the man who forced Saye to kiss his feet - in the ring.

Maxine McGillicutty trashes Duane Edwards and Miss Nicole's wedding: After being treated terribly by her sister and her ex boyfriend, Maxine McGillicutty got hers when she trashed the wedding of Edwards and Nicole at Mayhem 2011. She not only showed Edwards up to be a two-timer, but she threw paint over her vixen sister's expensive wedding dress.

Ryan Knight's new leaf: But by far the best moment this year occurred only a couple of weeks ago when Ryan Knight reformed his character and saved NWE Chairman Matt Saye from a beating by Alex Kingston. Knight, intent on mending fences with people he'd mistreated, couldn't have picked a bigger fence to mend. And it was fantastic to see.

What a year in National Wrestling Entertainment! Undefeated streaks broken, the Founder wrestled, alliances formed and fell, weddings trashed, celebrities assaulted, friends turned on each other, titles won and lost, tears were shed and good times had.

2011 has truly been a roller coaster ride. So many heart breaking and heart warming tales were told, many fell but many more rose.

Saye: “Wrestle Fest IV will surprise”

During an interview today, NWE Chairman of the Board Matt Saye promised that NWE's forthcoming show, “Wrestle Fest IV”, will “surprise many”.

Saye said: “I plan on taking NWE to new places in 2012. My mission at the end of every year is to make the next one as big as I possibly can. Next year, that starts with Wrestle Fest IV.

“I mean, it's on the first day of the year. What a way to kick start the new year with our biggest show of all time.”

Saye also predicted that Wrestle Fest IV would be a sleeper hit. “Listen, I've intentionally not made a huge, huge fuss this year. That's not because I'm not as motivated to see Wrestle Fest do as well as it has done.

“It's because I'm sick of telling people how big something will be. I'm just going to show you instead. January 1, 2012 will be a night that surprises a lot of people.

“NWE is going to take a complete left turn that night. But not for the sake of making a left turn. We're making a left turn because that is where I want us to be. 2012 is going to be NWE's best, biggest and brightest year ever.

“I guarantee you that."

International Title Cage Match:
Two rarities come to Showdown this week, as not only will NWE International Champion William Sanchez defend his title against Kenny Kidd on the show, but it will be inside a Steel Cage!

Over the last 2 weeks, Kidd has lost both his Title and his first rematch at the hands of NWE United States Champion Christian Jax. However, Jax was taken out of the equation last week when NWE General Manager Vincent Crashman banned him from ringside.

The most dangerous man in National Wrestling Entertainment, “The Baron of Brutality” Olegg Nastrum, will return this week on Showdown. With his body count tally rising, and now including Denzel Cain and Cain's mother, everyone will surely be on guard as this uncaring animal makes his presence known.

At Contempt, Denzel Cain requested of NWE General Manager Vincent Crashman a match with Nastrum. As Crashman went away to discuss it with NWE's Board of Directors, Cain stormed Jimmy Cash's interview last week for “ a little chat” with Nastrum's manager.

NWE's cameras did not catch what transpired. But they WILL catch Nastrum's return this week. What condition is Jimmy Cash in, what mood is Nastrum in, will Denzel Cain show up, and does Vincent Crashman have an answer? Find out this week.

Show Up to Showdown, Boss:
He's felt overlooked and conspired against for weeks. And whether he's right or he's wrong (and most feel he's wrong), no-one can change his mind. Now, “The Original Original” Alex Kingston has taken his campaign against NWE Chairman Matt Saye a step further; Kingston has demanded the boss show up to name him the #1 Contender to the NWE Championship.

While we can confirm that Saye will be in attendance at Showdown in Hershey, we do not know what Saye's response to Kingston's demands will be. Will Saye name Kingston the #1 Contender? And if not, what will Kingston's response be?

UPDATE on Corey Chambers

After the shocking ending to last night's NWE Showdown (READ), in which Corey Chambers passed out during his match with NWE Champion Chris Jackson, our web staff have been given this update.

Chambers was rushed to hospital immediately following the show, where doctors examined him and concluded that his significant loss of blood (Chambers bled throughout the night) was the cause of his mid-ring blackout.

We have been told that Chambers is now resting comfortably in hospital and should make a full recovery. He is expected to appear on NWE Showdown next week but will not be there in person as he will be kept in hospital over the next few days for monitoring.

As those who caught NWE Showdown (READ HERE) will already be aware, Corey Chambers passed out in the middle of the ring just a minute and change into his NWE Title match against champion Chris Jackson.

The former NWE Champion was attacked earlier in the night by John Tarver who, as we previously reported, was irate at Chambers for eliminating him from the Contempt Carnage match on Sunday.

Chambers bled throughout the evening, which is what NWE's physician said was the cause of Chambers' black-out during a quick examination from inside the ring.

John Tarver vents about NWE Contempt

While many NWE Originals were happy with how their night went at NWE Contempt, “The Steel City Slayer” John Tarver isn't one of them.

Tarver, who fought side-by-side with Team Jackson in the Contempt Carnage Match against Team Chambers, was so enraged he pulled one of our webstaff aside to vent with the specific instruction to post his feelings online.

For those who didn't catch Contempt (RESULTS), Tarver was eliminated in the main event by Corey Chambers (who went on to win the match overall).

Earlier today, Tarver told us: “That b*stard got lucky. You hear me? Luck was the only thing that helped Chambers knock me out of the match.

“Now everyone's pointing and laughing at me. The guy who got eliminated. Couldn't help his team win the match. Well, you can tell Mr. Chambers from me personally that he needs to watch his back.”

Chambers, of course, will wrestle Chris Jackson for the NWE Title this Wednesday on NWE Showdown in what was supposed to be the Wrestle Fest IV main event on 1.1.12. Will Tarver confront Chambers? Tune in to find out.

Wrestle Fest IV Comes Early?

NWE fans should be excited. For the first time EVER, the scheduled main event for NWE's premier show - Wrestle Fest - comes early. This Wednesday on NWE Showdown, in fact!

Wrestle Fest IV comes to Showdown:
After battling long and hard to victory at NWE Contempt, Corey Chambers will face NWE Champion Chris Jackson this Wednesday on NWE Showdown. By virtue of winning the “Contempt Carnage” Match, Chambers earned himself the right to take his Title shot 6 weeks early.

However, Chambers can't be at 100%. After all, he did need 11 stitches in his head to close the wound suffered after taking a Title shot to the head courtesy of Jackson on Sunday.

Jackson is a crafty, conniving Champion and you can be sure that he has something up his sleeve in his bid to retain his Title.

International Title Match:
The International Championship will also be on the line when newly minted Champ William Sanchez takes on former title holder Kenny Kidd. Sanchez won the belt last week thanks to an assist from United States Champion Christian Jax.

Now, though, he must fend off the hungry and rightfully disgruntled ex-champion if he hopes to retain the gold.

But what part will Christian Jax play, if any?

Interview the Monster's Master:
On Sunday, Olegg Nastrum made a huge impact when he returned early from suspension and chokeslammed Denzel Cain. Cain was at Contempt asking for a match with Nastrum after Nastrum assaulted Cain's mother.

Days after that shocking turn of events, Nastrum's manager Jimmy Cash will sit down in a live interview with Allan Black. What will Cash say to justify his monster's actions, and will Nastrum accept Cain's challenge of a match?

Bloody, Battered but Battle Ready!

The 2011 NWE Contempt pay-per-view has just gone off the air (RESULTS). Corey Chambers is a bloody mess as he is helped by two referees back from the ring. You can see the former NWE Champion doesn't want the help, but he has little other option. If he isn't propped up, he'd probably fall down.

The referees help Chambers to the trainer's room, which quickly becomes a hub of activity. Medics work to close the gash Chambers suffered at the hands of a shot with the NWE Title delivered by Chris Jackson. Despite the fact that he'll have to sit there as 11 stitches are put into his head to close the wound, Chambers is in high spirits.

Why not? After all, he knows he'll face Jackson for the NWE Title this Wednesday on NWE Showdown in Wrestle Fest IV come early!

“That was one of the toughest matches I've ever had,” Chambers said. “Damn. I mean, one opponent is tough, but having four other opponents makes it even harder. Thankfully, I had a team by my side.”

Well, sorta (laughs). Kenny Kidd was eliminated seconds into the match via disqualification when he refused to relent on an assault on United States Champion Christian Jax. Nicholas Price was eliminated shortly afterwards by Jackson.

“I'm not mad at Kenny Kidd. He did what he had to do, and I'd probably have done the same in his position,” said the Contempt Carnage 2011 victor.

While the stitches continue to be administered, we switch gears and ask Chambers about facing Jackson on Wednesday for the NWE Title. “It's a dream come true,” he responds quickly. “An early Christmas present. That NWE Title means everything to me. So, to get the opportunity to win it on Wednesday and go into Wrestle Fest IV the champion, not the challenger, that's amazing.”

But will having been the final member of his team for well over 30 minutes, as well as that nasty gash on his forehead, play a factor in the match?

“The gash will probably be more a target than any fatigue. Fatigue comes with the territory, but having stitches is like having a big 'x' on your forehead. An opponent, especially someone as cunning as Chris Jackson, will go for your biggest weakness if they're smart.

“But I'm ready, man. I took the ultimate gamble tonight. Now, it's time to play the right hand on Wednesday and win the game. Not that that's the easy bit. In fact, the one-on-one with Jackson in such a big match situation, making him even more dangerous, might be more detrimental to my health than tonight was.

“Regardless, I don't plan on leaving Showdown without gold in my hand.”

Todd Brown expresses 'Contempt' excitement

Everyone is excited for tonight's NWE Contempt pay-per-view. Not least is NWE play-by-play commentator Todd Brown.

Brown can be seen at ringside on a weekly basis calling all of NWE's action and usually doesn't do interviews. But Brown - one of the first to arrive at NWE events most weeks - leant us five minutes of his time to talk about tonight's pay-per-view extravaganza.

“Contempt is so exciting,” said Brown as he looked around the Boston Garden, site of the show. “Not only is it the final NWE pay-per-view of the year, but perhaps the most important one we've had in a long time.”

“I could feel the tension at ringside on Wednesday (at NWE Showdown), when Chris (Jackson) put the proposition to Corey (Chambers).

“It was one of those moments that sort of went by in slow motion. The entire arena sat in anticipation for what felt like forever before Corey finally accepted."

The acceptance of the proposition to put the NWE Wrestle Fest IV main event on the line shook the world and gave way to a whole new ballgame for the big event.

“The Garden is so rich in wrestling history. And tonight, NWE will do what I think it does better than any other - make more of it.”

NWE Showdown Results for November 2, 2011

While Contempt may not be until November 13, Team Chambers and Team Jackson did get into it on NWE Showdown.

At the start of the show, team captains NWE Champion Chris Jackson and Corey Chambers picked their own opponents for the night out of a tumbler.

Gafur Maari and a still injured Curtis Hagan battled John Tarver and United States Champion Christian Jax to open the show, and somebody will be getting a U.S. Title shot next week as a result!

In Jackson's match, he faced Kenny Kidd with a shot at the International Title for Team Jackson up for grabs.

Kingston vs. Chambers: Ladder to Glory?

NWE GrandSlam Wrestling will be a high point for either Corey Chambers or “The Original Original” Alex Kingston.

The two former NWE Champions and bitter rivals (READ MORE) will fight one another in perhaps the most physically demanding of matches in pro-wrestling, the Ladder match.

The objective is simple: beat your opponent up until you have enough time to climb the ladder and retrieve the object suspended above the ring.
So, what will the object be on October 21? A contract affording the winner a shot at the most valued prize in NWE, the NWE Championship.

A match originally scheduled for NWE Contempt happens in 9 days time.

Recently, Alex Kingston has cried injustice. Back in September, at the behest of NWE Chairman Matt Saye, Kingston defended the NWE title twice in one night where he lost the championship to Denzel Cain. Since, he hasn't had a rematch.

Chambers also has valid claim. He lost the title to Kingston earlier in the year, but under dubious circumstances as William Sanchez, his former best friend, cost him the title. Some argue Chambers should have had a fair opportunity to regain his title and never got it.

But questions still arise from the condition of Chambers' knee, tweaked during a match with Ramsay Steele a couple of weeks ago, aggravated with an assault by Kingston 7 days later.

Will Chambers be in any condition to compete at all a week on Friday? He's admitted himself his knee is not 100%.

UPDATE: Cain and mother are hospitalised

Following a brutal and unnecessary attack by “The Baron of Brutality” Olegg Nastrum, Denzel Cain and his mother have been admitted to hospital.

In the closing moments of NWE Showdown (READ), Cain was viciously assaulted by Nastrum after losing the NWE Championship in a 30 Minute Iron Man match to Chris Jackson. And after destroying her son, Nastrum also brutalised Mrs. Cain.

At this time, we have no word on the condition of the Cain's. But we do know that Olegg Nastrum is once again running wild in NWE despite his suspension.

The question is can ANBODY stop him?

Jackson Speaks on Regaining the NWE Title

In the last 8 days, he has surprised NWE fans with his change of heart.

On Sunday, October 2, NWE Founder and Chairman Matt Saye announced the closure of National Wrestling Entertainment. But less than a week later, it was not only re-opened but got a make over, to boot!

After seeing NWE into it's first show back, NationalWrestlingEntertainment.com got a chance to speak to the head honcho and find out what's going through his ever-changing mind.

Can you explain to us why you initially decided to close NWE on October 2?
“It was a simple decision we made as we felt quality wasn't being put out. We strive to put out the best entertainment possible, and felt we just weren't doing that.”

Less than a week later, that changed. Why?
“I woke up and realised that I wasn't going out like that. A goodbye post on the website really didn't cut it after nearly four years. If NWE is ever going to go out, it's going to go out in a blaze of glory on top of it's game.”

So are we on the final stretch in NWE's life, then?
“I really can't answer that question. During all the meetings I had with the Board and various others, we only made one decision. We decided that NWE Wrestle Fest 4 on January 1, 2012 from my home town, England, would happen regardless of how we got there.

“Whether 'Wrestle Fest 4' is the end or simply a new beginning is entirely debatable at this point.”

You've always maintained staying out of the spotlight where possible. But you were a visible presence on-screen at NWE Anguish (RESULTS). How did it feel being back in front of the audience?
“It's always fantastic. But, as you say, I do like to stay off screen wherever possible. The reasons for that are simple: this company isn't about me. It's about the NWE Originals. It's about our fans following the highs and lows of their careers. Following their stories.

“Plus, historically, when owners put themselves in front of the camera they tend to over-do it, and the fans tend to get sick of seeing them quickly.”

The biggest impact you made at Anguish was to book Alex Kingston vs. Corey Chambers for NWE Contempt on Sunday, November 13. How did that decision come about?
“I'm the first to admit, though his whining really grates on me, that Alex Kingston does have a credible claim as a top contender to the NWE Title. But, I also feel that Corey Chambers does. And I felt Kingston's attack on Chambers' injured knee a couple weeks ago on Showdown was unnecessary. It just seemed like a logical move to make.”

As the world saw, Denzel Cain became the brand-new NWE Champion last night. Was that something you were expecting to see?
“What kind of question is that? Everyone knows that with NWE, you should expect nothing. That match (between Cain and Chris Jackson) was fantastic. Cain was the better man on that night, he won the NWE Championship and I'm sure he'll make a great champion.”

You said earlier that you feel Alex Kingston and Corey Chambers have claim to a shot at the NWE Title. Where does the former champion, Chris Jackson, come in on that list?
“That's really up to Chris. In every title match contract, the rematch clause is optional. Meaning that the Original who loses the title can decide whether they want to cash in on it or not. So Chris has that choice to make and if he so chooses, I'm sure the fans would love to see a rematch. I know I would.”

There are still a plethora of unanswered questions around the company. Such as when, or if, Olegg Nastrum will be returning to National Wrestling Entertainment. Do you have any insight on that?
“Olegg was suspended indefinitely and rightfully so. You can't go around breaking the rules or putting your hands on officials of any kind. Olegg will be back, but I'm leaving (NWE General Manager) Vincent Crashman, (Nastrum's manager) Jimmy Cash and NWE's lawyers to deal with the intricacies of the matter.”

Finally, sir, can we expect to see you on NWE Showdown this week or in the future as the road to Wrestle Fest 4 begins?
“Who knows? I show up as and when I feel it's necessary. I'll be at the show, but whether I'll appear on camera is something I do not know right now. We'll see what happens.”

Denzel Cain's Hardest Challenge Awaits Him

The confetti poured, and so ended another NWE pay-per-view.

Denzel Cain, having just won the NWE Championship (the 9th individual to do so) stood triumphant as the fans in Alabama cheered and screamed his name. (FULL NWE ANGUISH RESULTS)

But this is far from the end of the story.

Denzel Cain might hold the NWE Championship for a second time at this moment, but now he has challenges galore awaiting him.

HUNTER'S HUNTING AGAIN:
The first, and undoubtedly the most immediate, is the former champion “The Hunter” Chris Jackson.

If 2011 has indicated nothing else, it's that Jackson is definitely what his nickname implies. A Hunter. A ruthless machine who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

And judging by his actions when he returned to the locker room - as he tore apart his own room - his quest to hold the NWE title is far from over.

CHALLENGERS CLASH AT CONTEMPT:
The next, should the current champ turn back Jackson's potentially imminent challenge, will be decided next month. As announced at NWE Anguish, “The Original Original” Alex Kingston will face Corey Chambers at NWE Contempt on November 13.

The former NWE Champions, both laying claim to being #1 Contender, will do battle to find out who faces the champion at a later date.

Let's, also, not forget the tens of Originals in the back, all also hungry to get an opportunity at fame, riches, and immortality by defeating the NWE Champion and taking the most prized gold from his shoulder.

JOY FOR THE CAIN'S... RIGHT NOW, ANYWAY:
For now, though, Cain can arrive in New Jersey for NWE Showdown. He can return to the Cain family household, greet his ever-loving mother and bask in the glory of capturing the most important title in the universe.

But as history has, and time ultimately will, indicate - where the NWE Championship is concerned; getting hold of it is far easier than keeping hold of it.

OUT WITH THE OLD: NWE returns
with a new logo

NWE RE-OPENS:
Less than a week after apparently saying goodbye, NWE Founder and Chairman Matt Saye has reconsidered his decision to close National Wrestling Entertainment.

The company closed it's doors on October 2, only 6 days ago, after Saye felt the product being put out was sub par.

However, it appears that things have changed in recent days - as they always do in NWE - and a re-opening has been ordered by the boss.

“Meetings have been going on daily since after last weeks Showdown,” said a source. “The company has been torn apart and put back together during these meetings and Management have discussed strategy going forward.

“It appears that they have gone back on the decisions to close the company.”

During an emergency press conference today, Saye announced the company's re-opening and declared that NWE would return with it's originally scheduled pay-per-view “Anguish” TOMORROW NIGHT. (Scroll down to see match card)

Along with that, a brand new company logo has been rolled out after nearly 4 years with the same logo. There is a black version, used on white backgrounds, and a white version, used on black backgrounds.

Dear Fans of NWE,

It is with a heavy heart that I report to you today that, for the foreseeable future, National Wrestling Entertainment is closing.

I feel NWE has not been turning in the best work possible, and I will not want to ask anybody to sit and read sub par output from me.

Over the last almost 4 years I have had a great time entertaining a global audience on a weekly basis. I feel that NWE has produced several memorable characters, storylines and moments and I hope you, the NWE readers, have enjoyed the ride as I have.

I will not say this closure is a permanent thing. I do plan, at the very least, to come back for “one more show” but that will not be until at least the new year. What I might do is to come back and do Wrestle Fest 4 on January 1, 2012 as a goodbye show.

Stay tuned to NationalWrestlingEntertainment.com, though. As anyone who knows me will tell you, plans in my head change like the wind. Who knows, NWE could be back tomorrow!

Has William Sanchez Lost It?

William Sanchez has developed a penchant for picking on people.

The once fan friendly NWE Original developed a mean streak over the summer, wanting revenge against former best friend Corey Chambers. With that quest seemingly fruitless, Sanchez has found a new target.

Gafur Maari.

Two weeks ago, during the Company Wide Battle Royal, Sanchez eliminated Maari. Then, this past week, for no apparent reason Sanchez cost Maari a match against Ramsay 'Iron Man' Steele.

Everyone was stunned by the deranged Original's unexplained interference. And Sanchez's own explanation leaves a lot to be desired:

“Why does everything need a reason, a hidden agenda? Why couldn't I just have been having a bad day and Gafur Maari was in the wrong place at the right time?

“I like making people talk. I like making people hate me. Being the bad guy is fun. Because no-one realises it yet - I'm not actually the bad guy. I'm a better guy than most…scrap that, I'm a better guy than everyone.”

We certainly weren't prepared to dig deeper into Sanchez's psyche, but we're quite sure Gafur Maari won't settle for Sanchez's “bad day” reasoning.

Kingston and Chambers: A Collision Course?

On the 130th episode of NWE Showdown (RESULTS), Corey Chambers came out to address injuries he'd suffered a week prior.

During a gruelling match with Ramsay “Iron Man” Steele, Chambers appeared to have tweaked his knee. During a subsequent visit to the hospital, Chambers was told to rest up.

Visiting Showdown this past Wednesday, Chambers spoke of his desire to make it to NWE Wrestle Fest IV in January and how resting up now would lessen the risk of long-term injury.

But Alex Kingston had no sympathy. Interrupting Chambers, the now former NWE Champion was still unhappy at being forced to make two title defences at Redemption. (READ THE COMPLETE CONFRONTATION)

The verbal exchange, in which Chambers told Kingston to stop making excuses, ended with Kingston attacking a wounded Chambers and leaving him writhing in agony.

The two are no strangers to each other. It was Kingston - with an assist from William Sanchez - who, back in June, ended Chambers' illustrious, history making reign as NWE Champion. The two battled again in July with a similar outcome under painfully familiar circumstances.

But it seems the two former NWE Champions just can't stay out of each others' paths. And with Kingston having attacked Chambers on Showdown, one has to wonder whether these two are on a collision course, set to do battle once again.

If history is anything to go by, should these two meet in the ring again, it'll be a contest for the ages!

Last Wednesday, following the return of the Company Wide Battle Royal, the Baron of Brutality lived up to his name by brutalising both Champion and challenger.

With the return of the Company-Wide Battle Royal, you'd be forgiven for thinking the biggest news to come out of Showdown was the crowning of a #1 Contender to the NWE Title. But you'd be wrong, dead wrong. The biggest news to come out of Showdown was Olegg Nastrum, who proved to be as dangerous as ever in a shocking, post-match beat down.

NWE Redemption crowns 2 new NWE Champions

As promised, history was made at NWE Redemption 2011.

Not only was the coveted NWE Championship defended twice in a single night, but it changed hands as many times.

The night started with Denzel Cain managing to overcome Alex Kingston to become the new champion, despite his leg not being up to scratch. Later, Cain would defend the title against “The Hunter” Chris Jackson where that leg would ultimately cost him the NWE Championship he'd won hours earlier. (FULL REDEMPTION '11 RESULTS)

“I won't bitch about it,” Cain told us after the show. “I knew exactly what I was getting into. We all did - Chris, Alex and me. One of us was going to wrestle twice and it just happened to be me.

“Am I disappointed I didn't get longer to hold that Title? Of course. But that's the way it goes. Now, I'm gonna get back on the horse and get the title back. The silver lining is that no-one can take away from me that I am a former NWE Champion!”

True though that is, the new (new) Champion, Chris Jackson, can top Cain's accomplishment. Jackson is the tenth and current NWE Champion, having managed to get away with only wrestling once.

“It's a long time coming,” Jackson told NationalWrestlingEntertainment.com. “How long have I been promising greatness? Months. The Hunter's Gospel never lies, it's never wrong - I'm never wrong.

“I started here in November 2009, I've worked my ass off just to get a shot at this. I don't care whether Denzel Cain had to wrestle twice or he did it on a bad leg. Boo hoo. Get over it. I'm the Champ now, that's all that matters.”

We tried to get a word with Alex Kingston, but sources say he was so mad he left the arena immediately after his match. He may not even know who the NWE Champion is as we speak.

The feud between William Sanchez and Corey Chambers runs deeper than any championship. The two former best friends are waging a war started by Sanchez centered all around success.

To anyone keeping score, it's obvious that William Sanchez is bitter. He hasn't had the same opportunities or success that Corey Chambers has had. He blames Chambers for his misfortunes in 2011, and wants to quite literally end his ex-buddy's career.

At Turmoil in June and Fight Against Time in July, Sanchez cost Chambers the NWE Championship. At NWE Heatwave last month, he took to Chambers with a steel chair ending the match in disqualification. Two weeks later, Sanchez hosted a eulogy for Chambers' “dead” career but didn't expect the former NWE Champion to show up!

Chambers later claimed that Sanchez needs to pay for his lies, betrayal and backstabbing. Promising to be the one to make him pay, Chambers referred to himself as the "bounty hunter".

Now, these two friends turned bitter rivals look to end their tumultuous relationship once and for all as they do battle in a Street Fight!

NWE United States Champion Curtis Hagan vs. Taru Hayashi (w/ DISORDER):
Looks can be deceiving. Curtis Hagan found that out the hard way. On the Aug. 10 edition of Showdown, Hagan had a heart-to-heart with DISORDER member Hayashi. Days before they faced in a match over the title at Heatwave, Hagan appealed to Hayashi's competitive nature.

It worked. At Heatwave, the two had an intense battle over the United States Championship and Hayashi prevented his banned-from-ringside DISORDER stable mates interfering. Hayashi lost the title to Hagan, but Hagan didn't forget his opponents integrity.

On Aug. 17, Hagan thanked Hayashi for the match. And it seemed Hayashi rejected DISORDER handler Mr. Hirasawa's orders to brutalise Hagan with a Singapore Cane. Hayashi cleared the ring of DISORDER... but would also clean Hagan's clock with the cane. It was revealed that Hayashi's “change of heart” was nothing but a mere hoax.

Now, at Redemption, the two battle once again over the prized NWE United States title. Though it's no longer for Hagan's freedom from DISORDER or his very career, one could argue it's more personal than ever! And this time... Singapore Canes are legal!

NWE International Champion Ryan Knight vs. Kenny Kidd:
The rivalry between Ryan Knight and Kenny Kidd started with a backstage altercation at July's NWE Fight Against Time pay-per-view. Knight disrespected Kidd and got an open-hand slap for it. Later in the evening, during the main event, Knight retaliated by attacking Kidd.

As fate would have it, the two would meet at NWE Heatwave in the Finals of a Tournament to decide the then-vacant NWE International Championship. Knight beat Kidd - whom he called irrelevant - with an assist from an exposed turnbuckle ring to Kidd's ribs. Hungry for revenge, Kidd came looking for Knight and got a led pipe to his injured ribs.

This match was set up shortly thereafter. The NWE International Championship means so much to Kenny Kidd and Ryan Knight. Add in Kidd's thirst to prove himself and his desire for revenge and you have a recipe for all out war over the title at NWE Redemption!

#1 Contenders Match - Deep South Destruction vs. The OwMen vs. The Butler Brothers:
The second 3-way match at NWE Redemption revolves around the NWE World Tag Team Championships. After making the case that NWE World Tag Champions The Maxwell Brothers had been handed opportunities by Management, Deep South Destruction and The OwMen soared into top contention for the titles.

Meanwhile, eager to prove themselves, The Butler Brothers interjected themselves into the situation. Now, the trio of teams compete to find out who will face the record setting 4 time champions in a future title match!

Christian Jax (w/ Mr Hughes) vs. Deelon Smith:
Don't turn on Deelon Smith. That's the lesson Mr Hughes has found out, after aligning himself with Christian Jax at Heatwave, thereby ending his year long managerial relationship with Smith. Jax, the catalyst for the betrayal, would attack Smith in the ring that same night.

Hughes claimed that Smith was a loser and that he'd found his new meal ticket in Christian Jax. But Smith won't let the new business partners have a honeymoon period, as he faces Christian Jax.

Jaleel (w/ Bill Danielson) vs. Kurt Harris:
Another team bites the dust. This one was inevitable. Combining the egos of Kurt Harris, Jaleel and Jaleel's manager Bill Danielson was always going to have a sour end.

The pair, who were teamed up back in February, had a run of success and became NWE World Tag Team Champions. That reign would end at NWE Heatwave. Danielson, who used to manage Harris but left him and found Jaleel, instructed Jaleel to attack Harris.

Now, Jaleel looks to finish the job at Redemption. But after a 7 month long relationship, does Harris know Jaleel well enough to combat the Samoan's brute strength and his managers evil cunning?

Ramsay “Iron Man” Steele vs. Gafur Maari:
Ramsay Steele is not a big fan of respect. He doesn't use it and clearly doesn't have any for anyone. Gafur Maari, an newcomer Indian Original in NWE, is all about respect. Maari respects everyone until given a reason not to.

Steele has made it clear he doesn't respect Maari and intends to end Maari's short but successful NWE career before it starts. Will he succeed?

Olegg Nastrum vs. Morgan Murray:
The rampage Olegg Nastrum has been on is absolutely terrifying. He has brutalised countless Originals, leaving a trail of destruction, pain and fear in his wake. The monster, with scheming, wheelchair bound manager Jimmy Cash at his side has seemingly gone beyond control. No-one is safe.

But there is one man willing to fight The Baron of Brutality. That man is Morgan Murray. The first Scotsman of NWE stepped up to the terrifying brute, putting himself forward as competition for Nastrum. Murray is brave and will fight the man he has referred to as the “Baron of Bullying” at NWE Redemption on September 11.

But the question is, can ANYONE stop Nastrum's terrifying run of pain?

It will be an historic night this Sunday at NWE Redemption, as NWE Champion Alex Kingston defends the title twice in an unprecedented concept. But before that, his two challengers - Denzel Cain and "The Hunter" Chris Jackson battled inside a Steel Cage to decide who got first dibs on a Title opportunity.

And at the end of the night, Kingston made good on his promise that no-one would forget him.
